Abstract
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is green building rating systems developed and administrated by the US Green Building Council (USGBC). The green features of a building are cotegorised and numerated in the LEED systems. The rating systems are developed to define and certify high-performance green buildings. At same time,LEED provides a clear roadmap for sustainable design and then ensures its performance by documenting that the building is constructed as designed. Green building movement is one of important efforts to reduce dependence on fossil fuel and protect environment. Sustainable design becomes a challenge facing architects. Integrated Design Process (IDP) has been incorporated into building design and construction processes.
