Discussion on the Application of Extended Producer Responsibility ( EPR) in E - waste Management

Extended Producer Responsibility is an important environmental policy approach,and also is an important method to effectively manage Electronic and Electric waste(e-waste).EPR extends a producer' s responsibility to the post-consumer stage of a product' s life cycle,especially to the take-back,recycling and final disposal of a waste product,thereby,decreasing environmental impact of a waste product.This paper discusses the implementation status of three different types of economies,the successful experience of E-waste management obtained in the three types of economics have an important referential significance for the implementation of China' s EPR.
