Abstract
The Akeqi gold deposit is produced in compression fractured belts of Habahe complex rocks of Middle Variscan stage and to be controlled by the fault belt. Gold ore bodies are vein and lens. It is branch or compound partly and disappear or reappear partly. There is an orogenic belt on the ground and in the lower part. The source rock of metallogy is related to the hosting igneous rocks. It belongs to the high-middle temperature magmatic hydrothermal type vein gold deposit. Key word: Akeqi gold deposit of Xinjiang; geological characteristics; genesis of ore deposit; mineral prospecting indicator.
