Abstract
Xi Ming is Zhang Zai’s short essay of hundreds of words to express ideals and values of his life,containing essence of Zhang’s philosophy,which describes status of between heaven and earth as well as his relationship with them,specifies man to individuals and finally introduces his responsibilities and obligations between heaven and earth.This paper proposes to analyze this essay from perspectives such as the harmony between and nature etc.,to understand and grasp theme of Xi Ming,and puts forward that it is of high spiritual values for establishment of world outlooks and life values for people of contemporary society.
