Abstract

The forming conditions and concentration mechanism of rich ore, criteria of prospecting ore and selection of uranium-rich ore target area are introduced in the article which is based on the studying geological characteristics and conditions of granite type uranium-rich ore deposits of No 201 and 361, and comparison of rich ore deposits and poor ore deposits in geological conditions. This is the first time in China to discuss the mineralization pattern of granite type rich-uranium ore comprehensively. Some new view points are also presented, such as the separate deposition of uranium minerals and gangue minerals is the main mechanism to form rich ore, for rich ore formation the ore enrichment by superimposition is not a universal regularity and most uranium-rich ore deposits are formed within one mineralization stage or mainly formed in one mineralization stage.
