Empirical Study of Financial Development and Economic Growth:Based on Jiangxi Province from 1978 to 2008

Financial development and economic growth have a great relevance.To test and verify the relationship between the financial development and economic growth through the Granger Causality Test with the data from 1978 to 2008 of Jiangxi Province,we find that the financial development have a certain role in promoting the economic growth in a short term,and this relationship is one-way.So,we should make efforts to increase the income of urban and rural residents,establish a multi-level modern financial system,and improve the legal system,giving a full play to the regional advantages of Jiangxi Province,promoting the financial development,so that it will be better to make contribution to the economic growth of Jiangxi Province,making Jiangxi Province become the first rising in the central.
