Abstract
This paper proposes a time and frequency synchronization algorithm for MIMO-OFDM systems. The synchronization is implemented through transmitting training sequence from every antenna simultaneously in this algorithm. The whole synchronization progress includes coarse time synchronization, frequency offset estimation and fine time synchronization. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has a satisfactory performance even at a low SNR in rich multi-path environment.
