Abstract

The common leak detection methods and advanced technologies for buried pipelines both in China and abroad are introduced.In a case study,the application of leak detection technology in SINOPEC Shengli Oil Field Company is described,and appropriate combination leak detection technologies were selected for the buried pipelines of different transportation media(oil,water and gas),which are very important for the rapid response to the leak emergency in buried pipeline operation.
