Abstract
Ultrathin(or zero-thickness) microstrip line is a key part in microwave circuit design.Formulae of electromagnetic parameters of zero-thickness microstrip line by Method-of-Moments(MoM) are briefly presented in this paper.Based on the theory,characteristic impedance of microstrip line and corresponding effective dielectric constant are calculated.Problems of quasi-static fringe influence on microstrip lines and near-end cross talk between two microstrip lines are investigated.Finally,some numerical results are presented and compared with those of analytical methods and the excellent agreement is demonstrated between them.
