Present Situation and Countermeasures of Zhengzhou Urban Tourism Development

In recent years,urban tourism has become a new trend of tourism development.As the capital city of Henan province and the core city of central plains economic zone,Zhengzhou has its advantages on the development of urban tourism.The main driving factors are:being the country's major transportation hub,having rich tourism resources,and enjoying the provincial government's favorable policy support.But,in Zhengzhou,tourism informatization level is low;it is short of high-end tourism talents;urban tourism service function is not sufficient.These become the main factors of restricting the development of Zhengzhou urban tourism.The article points out that the development of Zhengzhou urban tourism should depend on the integration of tourism resources,conduct of major festival activities,the construction of the tourism hub and the planning of overall tourism image.
