Abstract
WCDMA air interface is capable of supporting both speech and various data services.Because of services with different QoS requirements respectively and complex traffic characteristics, mixed service dimensioning process becomes more difficult to tackle. In this paper,a novel dimensioning approach based on resource sharing policy for calculating the blocking probability is proposed. At the same time, imperfection of power control is taken into account. The examples show that this method quickens the WCDMA dimensioning process and provides enough accuracy.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
