Clinical efficacy of losartan combined with meglumine adenosine cyclophosphate in treatment of pulmonary heart disease accompanied by heart failure

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of losartan combined with meglumine adenosine cyclophosphate in the treatment of pulmonary heart disease accompanied by heart failure.Methods A total of 74 patients with pulmonary heart disease accompanied by heart failure,who were hospitalized in our institution from March2011 to March 2013 and had complete medical records,were randomly and equally divided into observation group and control group.The observation group received conventional treatment for chronic pulmonary heart disease,as well as losartan and meglumine adenosine cyclophosphate,while the control group received conventional treatment for chronic pulmonary heart disease.Before and after one course of treatment,blood pressure,heart rate(HR),pulmonary artery systolic pressure(PASP),blood gas parameters,and other heart failure symptoms were evaluated.Results After treatment,both groups showed no significant changes in systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure,but had significantly reduced HR and PASP;the observation group was significantly superior to the control group in terms of these parameters(P0.05).In addition,both groups showed increases in PaO2 and SaO2and a decrease in PaCO2,and the observation group had significantly higher increases in PaO2 and SaO2(P0.05) and a significantly higher decrease in PaCO2(P0.05).The observation group had a significantly higher overall response rate than the control group(94.59% vs83.78%).Conclusion Losartan combined with meglumine adenosine cyclophosphate has good clinical efficacy in the treatment of pulmonary heart disease accompanied by heart failure and holds promise for clinical application.
