Abstract
In order to reduce the extent of the damage caused by Meloidogyne incognita in Shouguang county,Shandong, which has recently been becoming a major pathogen in greenhouse vegetable production system, farmers usually rotate pepper(Capsicum annuum) with Meloidogyne incognita host. The present experiment was to evaluate five pepper varieties for resistance to Meloidogyne incognita in a pot trial. The results showed that all five tested varieties were successfully infected by Meloidogyne incognita, indicating they were susceptible to Meloidogyne incognita.
