Abstract

The core of the basic GIS system is the data and the data service.It is necessary for us to study the format transformation from CAD to GIS because most of the basic data is made from CAD system.This article studies the geographic coding and rule database.The COM technology and Geodatabase data model are used to realize the format transformation,surface construction,attribute extraction and database loading with VB and AO.
