A Probe into the Binju Tribe of Baizi Kingdom

Studies on the Baizi Kingdom of ancient Dali have made marked achievements,but considerable disputes still remain.An analysis of various historical data supports the view that a Baizi Kingdom existed in the period from West Han to early Tang Dynasty,in the form of an tribe alliance,with Midu's Baiya as its centre and Baiya's tribe chieftain Zhang as the head.Binju tribe was an important member of the alliance and,moreover,was the immigrant descendants of the tribe of Baiyang village dated back to 4000 years ago.This provides another example for the argument that Bai people are the aboriginal.
