Abstract
This article through the application of casting section, scanning electron microscope and high pressure Hg injection study the characteristics of WuDing district Chang 6 reservoir. The sandstone is feldspar sandstone and lithic feldspar sandstone. The pore space of reservoir mainly includes inter granular pores and corrosion pores. The quality of reservoir is poor, the capacity of reservoir for original is low,the non-homogeneous of reservoir is strong. The quality of reservoir was affected by sedimentary microfacies and diagenesis. The sandstones of distributary's channel under water sedimentary microfacies were the good microfacies for the reservoir development. The agglutination of authigenic chlorite in the early stage of diagenesis was favorable for protection of primary pores and throats in sandstone reservoirs. The dissolution pore massive existences caused each kind of hole to connect effectively, enhanced the reservoir permeability.
