The Analysis of Spatial Evolution Characteristics of Population Distribution in Jilin Province Since 2000

Based on the Statistical Yearbook data,this article inspects the spatial evolution of the population distribution feature of 48 counties and cities in Jilin Province by choosing the three years of 2000,2004,2009 and analyzes the dynamic mechanism.Theempirical results showthat:the spatial distribution of population in Jilin Province shows a e trend of evolution of acceleratingconcentration,there is an accelerated movement of the population gravity center from southeast to northwest,the population growth is in the early stageof migration,the divergence tendency of the population density strengthens gradually,the divergenceof economic development is one of the most important driving factors of the evolution of the spatial population.
