Abstract
The sufficient condition for system model and its inversion approximated by wavelet networks are presented. The nonlinear system internal model control scheme is realized based on wavelet network. A PID controller is added to improve the IMC controller. Simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of wavelet network as an IMC controller. The IMC+PID controller has the faster and smoother tracking performance than only IMC controller.
