Abstract
Objective To analyze the relationship between serum HBV-DNA levels and the patterns of serological markers. Methods The levels of HBV markers and HBV-DNA in the serum of 1433 hepatitis B patients were quantitatively determined by ELISA and FQ-PCR. Results There was a close relationship between serum HBV-DNA and HBeAg. The highest HBV-DNA levels were presented in sera positive both for HBsAg and HBeAg, higher HBV-DNA levels could also be observed in some sera with negative HBeAg and positive anti-HBe. Conclusion Quantitatively determination of the level of HBV-DNA can genuinely reflect the results of HBV replication and it is also of great significance for diagnosis and observation on the results in treatment of HBV patients.
