Abstract

Essential oil was extracted from the stems and leaves of Rosmarinus officinalis L.in Baise of Guangxi by steam distillation.The chemical components of the essential oil were analyzed by GC-MS,in which 36 peaks were separated by GC and 31 among them were identified by MS with NIST mass sepectral data.The identified components covered 97.08% of the total peak area of the essential oil.The major chemical components were eucalyptol,α-pinene,camphor,camphene,α-terpineol,bornyl acetate,borneol,etc.
