Abstract

The seismic exploration techniques for shallow sandstone are analyzed and researched in combination with some examples in the west part of Sichuan province based upon the main quality affecting factors of shallow horizon seismic data. A set of techniques of data acquisition, processing and interpretation that are suitable for the seismic exploration of shallow sandstone are summarized, with which the satisfied application practical results are achieved.
