Abstract

Through analyzing the advantage and defect among the realizing models of traditional WebGIS, this paper studies general design architecture of distributed WebGIS based on J2EE. Meanwhile, it gives corresponding solution according to factual applications based on this architecture and ArcIMS. Therefore, it meets the need of WebGIS applications in enterprise level for better.
