Abstract

Objective To investigate the 16 slice spiral CT and post processing technology in diagnosis of intestinal obstruction. Methods Retrospectively reviewed 49 cases of intestinal obstruction which confirmed by operation pathology and clinical follow-up. CT volume scanning of thin layer and(MPR, MinIP, VR) image reconstruction were processed to analyze the etiology of intestinal obstruction. Results The diagnosis rate of intestinal obstruction was 100%, the etiological diagnosis rate was 95.9%, including tumor, intestinal adhesion, hernia, volvulus, intussusception, stercoral obstruction, Crohn 's disease. Conclusion The 16 slice spiral CT and post-processing reconstruction technique can accurately display the intestinal obstruction, reason and the surrounding situation, to prompt clinical treatment provides the important basis, to be spread in clinical application.
