Application of Pro/E in Structure Analysis

With the development of the computer technology,it has become the tendency which using the CAD/CAE tools to research the mechanical structure.Pro/E can actualize jointless integration between modeling and structure analysis,what more,the efficiency and reliability of the new products development.In this paper,it briefly discusses the program of structure design in Pro/E,uses the four-bar linkage as an example to introduce the application of Pro/E in structure analysis.The solid model of four-bar linkage was built by using of Pro/E,then was simulated with mechanism module of the Pro/E,and the result of the simulation was proved reasonable.Based on the simulation,the structure intensity analysis was carried out with defining load by transferring load from structure,result shows that this way is more efficient.
