Abstract
The paper studied the degradation of organic pollutants in coking wastewater by activated sludge made of aerobic bacteria and nitrification bacteria and inspected the influence of the processing time, temperature, pH and other factors on degradation in the treatment process. The results showed that the best metabolism condition of activated sludge on coking wastewater was achieved when pH was 6 to 8, the temperature was 30~50 ℃ and aeration time was 6~8 h.
