Abstract

Time synchronizing is very important to the stable operation of power system. Based on the requirement of engineering application, this paper describes the time synchronizing requirement of different kinds of automatic devices (systems) in power system, introduces the compositions of time synchronizing system and modes of time synchronizing, with some mistakes clarified. Then some typical configurations for main station and substation are provided.
