Applied Anthropology and Its Practice in China

In addition to reviewing the tradition of anthropological application and the present applied anthropology, this paper introduces the status quo of the practice of applied anthropology in China, summarizes the traits of applied research, and reconsiders the practice of applied anthropology as well as its related questions: the core of the practice is serving the people; the key point is the differences between minority groups, between cities and countries, and between areas.
