Abstract
In order to study the population structure and stocks of fish in Fabiela River, a survey of fish samples collected was made separately by means of traps and fishing vessels disposed at Fabiela River mouth entering Heilongjiang River, fixing four fishing boats at the mouth of Fabiela River entering Heilongjiang River trunk stream and fixing two sailing junks in the Yinlu Section of Fabiela River in May, July, and September of 2014. There were fifty nine species in the Fabiela River, belonging to two classes' seven orders sixteen families, including Cyprinidae accounting for 57.63%, Cobitidae 10.17 %, catfish 6.78%, Cirrihitoidea and Salmonoidea separately 3.39 %.The species in other 12 families were accounted for 18.64 %. The variation of fish species was that the large-size fish was decreased while small-sized fish including mandarinfish(Siniperca chuatsi)were increased in percentage in the fish population structure. The mandarin fish and some cold water fishes were found to be in a state of endangerment.
