Abstract
The paper analyses the current problem of diesel engine starts in diesel locomotive, and proposes adopting PCC technology to control diesel engine start process based on the rules of motor with series charcateristics and the rotational speeds of diesel start. Thus, the economizing and intelligentizing of diesel engine start are achieved.
