Abstract
Microstructure and tribological properties of two Fe based sintered materials after wide bond laser surface hardening were studied in this paper The results show that the wear resistance of Fe based sintered materials can remarkably improve after laser surface hardening Comparing the two materials, under the lower loads, the material with twinned martensite/dislocation martensite microstructure shows the better tribological properties However, under the higher loads, the material with martensite/bainite duplex microstructure shows the excellent wear resistence
