Abstract
Star cationic crosslinking agent containing multi-reactive group has big affinity with cellulose and dye.Cellulose fiber was modified with a star cationic crosslinking agent containing multi-reactive group. The optimal modification process was as follows: 40 g/L of room temperature dipping crosslinking agent,10 g/L of NaOH,dipped for 3 h.The dyeing properties of modified cotton were investigated. The results showed that the modified cellulose fiber could be dyed with reactive dyes without the addition of salt. The color availability and dye uptake was improved and the color fastness nearly unchanged. The dyeing depended little on the salt.
