Evaluation and exploitation of eco-tourism resources of forest natural area——A case study of Heili River National Nature Reserve

The connotation of eco-tourism resources'evaluation and exploitation were discussed based on the development background of eco-tourism.An evaluation structural model of forest eco-tourism types was developed,providing the strategic basis for the planning of forest eco-tourism,and the empirical study of Heili River National Nature Reserve was conducted with its quality of tourism resources,regional environmental quality and development conditions as its main indicators to find out the advantages and disadvantages of its development according to the fundamental procedures of the forest eco-tourism exploitation.The results showed that Heili River Nature Reserve has rich forest resources,obvious regional superiority,and great market potential,with imperfect service facilities and short open period as its restraining development factors.Therefore,some advices for the improvement in its competitiveness were proposed by developing science tourism,building a one-hour local tourism circle,excavating cultural resources and so on.
