Abstract

Objective: To select and identify the peptides specifically recognizing the monoclonal antibody (mAb) 12CA5 against human influenza hemagglutinin from a hexapeptide library dispalied on the surface of filamentous bacteriophage(M13). Methods: The binding of phage to mAb was detected by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays, while the amino acid sequences of displayed peptides was confirmed by sequencing the inserted nucleotide acid sequences of corresponding clones.Results: The amino acid sequences of obtained peptides show high homology to the epitope of mAb 12CA5, especially to the four residues PDYA at the C-terminus.Conclusion:quarta peptide PDYA plalys an important role in the binding of antigen to mAb.
