Abstract
Focusing on the problem that the performance of a GNSS receiver is susceptive to the multipath signals,a multipath mitigation method based on the maximum likelihood method and the ELS(Early/Late Slope)technique for Binary Offset Carrier (BOC)modulated signal is presented.By being estimated the direct path signal and computing the slope at both sides of several peaks of the autocorrelation function,a good multipath mitigation effect is presented. Its performance is better than the traditional narrow correlator technique and the ELS technique. It also introduces little computational complexity.Simulations of the multipath error envelope for BOC(10,5)signals are performed. The simulation results show that the proposed method can suppress the tracking error induced by the multipath signals efficiently.
