Abstract

Objective To explore the role of 128-slice-spiral-CTAin the preoperative diagnosis and the postoperative evaluation of patients with intracranial aneurysms. Methods 53 patients were conducted with 128-slice-CTA scan, and the operation model was decided according to result of MSCAT. Conditions of aneurysms and thrombosis were evaluated. Results 64 aneurysms were detected in 53 patients, including 10 cases of multiple aneurysms. Preoperative MSCTA were able to show the location, size and shape of the aneurysm and the relationship with surrounding structures. Postoperative CTA was able to show the quantity and location of the aneurysm clip, the situation of residual aneurysms and relationship between artery with aneurysm and arterial clip. Conclusion 128-slice-spiral-CTA plays an important clinical value in the preoperative diagnosis and postoperative follow-up of patients with intracranial aneurysm surgery.
