Research on Water Environmental Impacts of the Middle Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project on the Middle and Lower Reaches of Hanjiang River and Sustainable Development

The implementation of the middle route Project of South-North Water Transfer has great influences on the environment of the middle-lower reaches of the Han jiang River.Influenced by it,the quality and quantity of the water in the areas along Dan jiangkou River will be greatly changed.And it will have different degree effects on many aspects,such as theflood control 、water pollution、soil erosion、water resources supply and allocation、industrial and agricultural production and urban development.Through analysis of the adverse effects of the middle route of South-to-North Water Diversi on Project onthe middle-lower reaches of the Hanjiang River basin.The paper puts forward the basic ideas to promote the sustainable development of this area which will provide scientific help for this area to make decision on the ecological protection and sustainable development of economy and society.
