Abstract

Aiming at the instance that there are not measured data on the movement characteristics of debris flow, this paper introduces a method that can analyse the influence of debris flow on an engineering project by taking the Daqiao channel debris flow for an example.Based on the diagnoses of debris flow development characteristics, according to the close relation of debris flow, flood and rainstorm, combining illation expressions,rain-flood modifying and mud trace investigation, making the known rainstorm characteristic values under different design frequencies to translate into flood peak value flux under different design frequencies, this method educes some characteristic values of debris flow peak value flux, once debris flow and transport sand gross etc.and in the last evaluates the debris flow influence on engineering projects combined with the analysis of debris flow occurring frequency. The analytical method will take a use for reference to analyse debris flow's influence on engineering projects in the southwest area without actual measured data on the movement characteristics of debris flow.
