The Study of Establishing an Embryo Storage of Rat in Using Different Freezing Methods

Abstract

This study were conducted to using three different methods to cryopreserve the rat blastocysts,they were programming freezing, vitrification and OPS(Open Pulled Straw). And the effect of different methods on survival rate of frozen thawed embryo was discussed. The survival rates and hatching rates after frozen thawed were 82.4%,76.9%,85.7% and 47.1%,46.1%,\{53.6%\}.Respectively, there are no difference among three freezing protocols. The results show that all of the methods can be used to established embryo bank.
