PETROLIFEROUS AND GEOLOGIC MAIN CONDITIONS IN THE EAST CHINA-SEA BASIN

Abstract
There are four episodes in development of the East China Sea Basin;
tectonic framework of the basin is longitudinal zones, differences between
the northern and southern; favorable for forming excellent assemblages of
source rocks, reservoirs and sealing rocks; the coal can generate a huge
amount of oil and gas, traps of a big and much types. At present, the
high-prcductivity single-well had been got in prospection. According to
synthetic studies of various data, it is proposed that there are geological
condition to form large oil and gas fields in East China Sea Basin.
