Abstract
Nine cultivars from 7 Cymbidium species were used to analyse the genetic polymorphism and relationships among the cultivars by RAPD techuique.Six RAPD primers,which were selected from 60 random primers,produced 64 bands,of which 61(95.3%) bands were polymorphic.The result of cluster analysis showed that there were obvious differences among different cultivars,and that the clustering result was in agreement with that obtained according to morphological classification but that there were some differences in the taxonomic status of C.lianpan and C.ensifolium between the two classification methods.
