Development of Online Monitering Device in Lightening Arrester of Sub-station and its Application

A high voltage lightning arrester on-line monitoring devices that controlled by 8031 single-chip computer is introduced in this article.This systyem can analyse the changes of leakage active current of lightning arrester in time to judge whether the lightning arrester is ageing.If a lightning arrester is ageing,the system will alarm automatically then show the position of ageing arrester,so the ageing arrester will be replaced in time.
