Abstract
Objective: Screening produces alkaline xylanase enzyme activity of high strain.Method:18 xylanase producing strains were obtained from alkaline condition by assaying congo-red hydrolyzed circle on the selective medium, and xylanase activity under shake-flask fermentation,in which xylan were used as the only carbon source, and the maximum enzyme activity achieved 335.14 IU/ml.It was tentatively identified as Bacillus based on its morphological characterization.Result:The study on characteristics of xylanase was carried out.The results show that the optimal reaction condition of xylanase were 60℃and pH8.0,and its activity remained 80%of maximum activity at pH 9.0.Conclusion:It exhibit favorable potential for application in the processing industries
