Abstract
Urban stream is a flow phenomena among space flows of cities which includes the personnel flow, capital flow, information flow and so on.It can reveal the movement of elements between cities and identify each city's economic status in the region.By analyzing the flow intensity of Yinchuan metropolis,we think that urban stream intensity of this metropolis is not high and in early stage of development in metropolitan.According to urban stream intensity value of the cities, the metropolitan cities is divided into three levels: Yinchuan City is the center city,Wuzhong,Lingwu are the secondary cities,Helan,Yongning,Qingtongxia city is for the third.
