Abstract
As one of the amphetamine type stimulants,methamphetamine has been abused widely in China.The methamphetamine dependence is related to the mesocorticolimbic dopaminergic system.This paper describes the mechanisms underlying methamphetamine dependence on the dopamine release,dopamine receptors and dopamine transporter.
