Abstract
This paper is to provide scientific proofs for planting design of residential areas in Lingnan by the research on exiting plant landscape in several residential areas in Guangzhou and Shenzhen,applying all kinds of landscape vegetation frequency data to analyze common plant types used in public green space,building nearby green space,street green space and utility attached one in residential area landscape and making use of plant landscape photos to analyze common residential plant design forms.
