An Inspection and Argumentation of "YuanDiao" in Wen Xin Diao Long

The category of is not a common literature concept in Wen Xin Long,but it always has been used by theorists later.In this paper,it observes and studies the origin of Yuan and Diao.The aesthetic sense of them appeared in the character commentary in the period of Weijin and turned up in the poetic theory in the period of Nanbei Dynesty.In the work of Wen Xin Long,LiuXie united Yuan and Diao into one concept for the first time.
