Abstract

The novel super absorbent resin was prepared through free radical grafting copolymerization by using the sodium carboxymethylcellulose, acrylic acid, acrylamide. The effect of the preparation conditions of the resin such as the temperature of polymerization, the time of reaction, the concentration of the materials, the ratio of the materials, the concentration of the initiator, etc, to the water absorbent ability of the resin was investigated. The optimal preparation conditions were settled.
