Abstract
This paper introduces several kinds of methods commonly used for the detection of GIS partial discharge focusing on UHF detection on GIS partial discharge,expounds the detection principle,interference principle and positioning principle of UHF detection method,and tthrough comprehensive analysis on partial discharge's waveform characteristics,phase characteristics and frequency characteristics,lists the characteristics experiences summary table of various partial discharge phenomena,and puts forward a typical example of UHF detection on GIS partial discharge,which is used to make the site test and the test analysis on GIS partial discharge.
