Abstract
By analyzing and comparing the monitoring data of the electromagnetic environments around four typical 110 kV transformer substations,we conclude that the power frequency electromagnetic field intensities are all far lower than the recommended limits(power frequency electric field intensity 4 kV/m and magnetic fiild intensity 0.1 mT) in the national standards. In addition, the shielding effect of the substation structures on power frequency electric field is remarkable. This study may provide a reference for planning and designing future transformer substation in city.
