Abstract
Seismic sequence and seismic facies analysis technique has been still based on the simple seismic stratigraphic classification and the seismic wave characteristic parameters,such as amplitude,frequency,continuity and so on,have been used to study the sedimentary facies in this method.By the seismic stratigraphic classification,the new way to study favourable reservoir using the seismic data is put forward,and combined with sedimentary facies research,the precise study of sedimentary facies distribution becomes possible by using this technique,besides that,it can guide the reservoir prediction research.It is very important to use this way for exploration in the relatively lowdegree exploration areas.
